Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Kickrecruit collects minimal data to operate the service:

Account data: Email, name (via Google OAuth), and a generated referral code.
Usage data: Interview sessions started, features used, and performance metrics (latency, errors).
License data: License keys issued, activations, and machine fingerprints (hashed) for license enforcement.
Payment data: Razorpay order IDs, payment status, and referral codes applied. No card details touch our servers.

2. What we do NOT collect

Your screen content, code, or interview conversations.
Keystrokes, clipboard, or audio/video.
Browser history, passwords, or credentials.

The desktop overlay runs locally. Nothing leaves your machine except anonymized telemetry you can disable.

3. How we use your data

Authenticate you and maintain your session.
Issue and validate license keys.
Process payments and apply referral discounts.
Improve the product (aggregated, anonymized usage stats).
Send critical service updates (no marketing without consent).

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. Third parties we use:

Supabase: Auth, database, and storage (EU/US regions).
Razorpay: Payment processing (India).
Google: OAuth authentication.

All processors are bound by DPAs and process data only on our instructions.

5. Retention

Account data: Until you delete your account.
License/activation data: 2 years after last activation.
Payment records: 7 years (legal requirement).
Anonymized analytics: Indefinitely.

6. Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing privacy@kickrecruit.in. We'll respond within 30 days.

7. Security

All traffic over TLS 1.2+.
Service role keys never touch the client.
Row Level Security on all database tables.
Machine fingerprints are salted + hashed (SHA-256) before storage.

8. Changes

Material changes will be emailed to you and posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
